Alura Yachting at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026: Discover the Latest from FIM Yachts and Aquila Catamarans

From 8 to 13 September, the yachting industry returns to the French Riviera for the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, the event that traditionally opens the new boating season. Bringing together more than 680 exhibitors, over 700 boats and close to 150 world premieres, Cannes remains one of the world’s leading in-water boat shows and an essential destination for anyone considering a new yacht.

As the exclusive dealer for FIM Yachts and Aquila Catamarans in Portugal, Alura Yachting will once again be attending the festival. Ricardo Martins will be on hand throughout the event to welcome clients, arrange private viewings and present the latest models from both brands. Visitors interested in exploring the FIM or Aquila displays can also request their Cannes Yachting Festival invitation directly through Alura Yachting.

Why Visit the Cannes Yachting Festival?

Unlike many indoor exhibitions, every yacht at Cannes is displayed afloat, allowing visitors to experience each model exactly as it is intended to be seen.

Spread across the Vieux Port and Port Canto, the festival brings together sailing yachts, motor yachts, catamarans, day boats, tenders, marine equipment and the latest innovations from leading shipyards around the world. It is one of the few events where prospective owners can compare multiple brands while meeting designers, manufacturers and official dealers in the same place.

For anyone seriously considering a yacht purchase, there is no better opportunity to explore such a broad selection of models during a single visit.

FIM Yachts Returns to Cannes

Italian builder FIM Yachts continues to strengthen its position in the premium day cruiser and open yacht segment, combining contemporary Italian styling with practical layouts and generous outdoor living spaces. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore three models from the range, including a world premiere.

World Debut: FIM 580 Contessa

The flagship of the range, the FIM 580 Contessa represents the latest evolution of the shipyard’s design philosophy. Expansive entertaining areas, refined Italian craftsmanship and advanced onboard technology come together in a yacht designed for owners who expect both luxury and practicality.

FIM 500 Regina

The FIM 500 Regina has become one of the brand’s defining models thanks to its distinctive hardtop profile, highly configurable layout and impressive beach club concept. Designed with entertaining in mind, it offers exceptional versatility for owners who spend as much time at anchor as they do underway.

FIM 440 Regina

Completing the display is the FIM 440 Regina, a sleek and sporty cruiser that maximises both deck space and the connection with the sea. Its intelligent layout and seamless transition between interior and exterior spaces have made it one of the most successful models in the range.

The display also reflects FIM’s continued growth following the launch of the brand’s new website and the expansion of its portfolio with the recently introduced Tender line.

Aquila Catamarans Opens a New Chapter

This year’s festival marks an important milestone for Aquila Catamarans. For the first time at Cannes, the brand will present a dedicated sailing catamaran display alongside its established power catamaran exhibition, giving visitors the opportunity to discover both sides of the Aquila range during the same event.

World Debut: Aquila 45 Sail

The headline attraction will be the world premiere of the all-new Aquila 45 Sail.

Developed from the ground up as a sailing catamaran rather than an adaptation of an existing power platform, the 45 Sail introduces Aquila’s vision of modern cruising under sail. Highlights include its innovative fixed bow cockpit, spacious flybridge, generous living areas and a choice of three or four-cabin layouts designed for extended cruising.

Aquila 50 Sail

Joining the new 45 Sail is the award-nominated Aquila 50 Sail, making its Cannes debut following its successful launch earlier this year. Combining exceptional interior volume with innovative design and the option of hybrid propulsion, it showcases Aquila’s vision for the future of luxury sailing catamarans.

Aquila 45 Sport

Power Catamaran Display

Alongside the sailing range, Aquila will also present a selection of its latest power catamarans, including:

  1. Aquila 45 Sport – European debut
  2. Aquila 46 Yacht
  3. Aquila 50 Yacht

Additional models are expected to be announced closer to the festival.

Together, the sailing and power displays demonstrate the breadth of Aquila’s growing portfolio and the brand’s continued investment across both segments.
